APAWLI is the only leadership program in the nation whose mission
is to address the specific challenges facing Asian and Pacific
American women as leaders and to nurture culturally competent
trusteeship within our communities. APAWLI is committed to:
- Enhancing leadership skills, thereby better enabling Asian
and Pacific American
Women Leaders (through our Fellowship Program) to better advocate
for positive social change that will lead to better communities
and a better America.
- Increasing understanding of contemporary issues confronting
Asian and
Pacific Americans.
- Creating a national network of Asian and Pacific American
women leaders that mentors and supports present and future
leaders.
- Giving back to the community through Leadership Impact
Projects.
