first annual tennis tournament. On Saturday, we enjoyed
perhaps the last true day of Summer for this millenium!
Our photographers tooks some action shots of the participants
during the competion.

banner greeted the players as they enter Utah Park's tennis
courts. |

We
were at the courts early, by 8am we had the registration/info
booth set up for the event. Thanks to Census 2000's Nancy
Webster for sponsoring and passing out info about the census.

As
the participants anxiously waited to begin, we heard one player
exclaimed "I gotta get one of those!" as he examined
the trophies. Good luck, the men's draw will finish on the
substitute rain-date. |
